Dropped All Blacks winger Joe Rokocoko plans to meet coach Graham Henry for a face to face meeting later this week, with part of that discussion likely to centre on his failure to adapt to a modern game that places more emphasis on winger's kicking and kick receiving ability.

Rokocoko said he had no immediate plans to take up an overseas offer and would instead re-commit to the Blues and Auckland in a bid to win his place next season.

He believes like any professional athletes he has to adjust and can’t make excuse as the game has changed which he will try to do something about it rather than winging about it.

The last time he was dropped he made his way through the national 7's team something he ruled out attempting to repeat.
