Rokocoko benched
Rokocoko will now be replaced by Cory Jane in a move to try and counter the Wallabies kicking variety as the selectors have been trialing an extra fullback in their back three with Jane to take up a role on the right wing.
Smith added that Rokocoko was dependable on high ball but his kicking was not as highly developed as others who could play in the back three.
Looking at the team to meet the Wallabies, Tony Woodcock, Andrew Hore, Neemia Tialata, Brad Thorn, Isaac Ross, Jerome Kaino, Richie McCaw(c), Rodney So'oialo, Jimmy Cowan, Stephen Donald, Sitiveni Sivivatu, Ma'a Nonu, Conrad Smith, Cory Jane and Mils Muliaina.
In the Reserves, Keven Mealamu, Owen Franks, Jason Eaton, Kieran Read, Piri Weepu, Luke McAlister and Joe Rokocoko.
The All Blacks/Wallabies match kicks off at 7:35pm on Saturday.
