Robbers Still On The Run
Divisional Crime Officer Southern SP Apisalome Tuiwakaya had confirmed they are following some leads, however no one has been taken in for questioning as yet.
He said officers from the strike back team have been called to help the CID to arrest the robbers.
SP Tuiwakaya had also confirmed the 5 men who were involved in the Supreme Fuel Service station robbery in Narere on Monday night are still at large.
Police believe the five are from the Nasinu area. The robbers abandoned the vehicle used in the robbery at the Laqere checkpoint and fled.
A man who was also injured during the process is still recovering at the CWM hospital.
Meanwhile, Police have arrested and charged 4 men who were involved in the Mobil service station robbery at Princes road early this week.
SP Tuiwakaya had confirmed the 4 are also being questioned in relation to some other robberies in the Central Division.
