A 33 year old man charged with robbery with violence appeared before Magistrate Aminiasi Katonivualiku in the Suva Magistrates Court today.
It is alleged that on 17th November last year, Stanley Sudhakar along with four other known criminals approached Doctor Ramon Angco pretending to be sick.
Sudhakar who accompanied one of the criminals asked the Doctor for a glass of water and when the doctor had gone to get the water, it is alleged that Sudhakar's other accomplices came inside the house with pinch bars and cane knives and threatened the doctor. The four later fled of with items worth more than $116,000.
The case is adjourned till 21st November as some witnesses failed to appear in court today.
