Roads remain closed due to flooding
The Naibita road along the Kings highway is now open to a single lane traffic only as half the road has been washout.
Other bridges and roads that are still underwater in the Tailevu area and closed to all traffic, include the Naqia and Balenaga bridge which are under six feet of water, Bucalevu bridge, Nabouva flats and the approach to the village is under one metre of water and the Draunikula flats and Wainivesi road.
The crossing for Waioli in Naqali is underwater, the Lutu and Vuisiga road is still underwater this includes the Waima Crossing.
In Taunovo along the Queens highway, the Veiwawa road is underwater and motorists are advised to take precautions as the water in the Navua River is also rising at the moment.
In Ra, the Burenitu, Burelevu, the Burotu circular and the Vuni-kavika-loa road is underwater.
The Roads Ministry has advised the general public to please don=t try and cross the roads and bridges as this will be very dangerous.
