Roads in the North will have to undergo a major overhaul and check to ensure it is safe for motorists.
Following the recent landslide as a result of heavy rain in Savusavu, the Ministry of Works has revealed that problem they is due to poor drainage and they are looking into the issue.
Ministry Spokeswoman, Sainiana Waqaibete says that the cause of the landslide last night was same as the one in November llast year, in the same vicinity.
Meanwhile, Police spokesperson atunaisa Sokomuri says that half of the Hibiscus Highway near Lomaloma in Seqaqa has been opened for light traffic.
