Divisional Engineer Roads Senior Technical Officer Central/ Eastern, Narendra Rama has confirmed that grading work on Koronivia/Lokia road is underway.

Rama said two machines are patching the big potholes on the road and if the weather stays fine throughout the day they hope to complete maintenance work by this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Director of Tebara Transport, Krishna Maharaj said their officials will go down and inspect the seven kilometer road and when it is satisfactory for buses to travel they will resume services tomorrow.

Bus services have been stopped for the past four days due to bad road conditions.
