The road upgrading at the Wailada industrial area is complete.
This has been confirmed by the Suva and Lami Special Administrator, Chandu Umaria.
The road works were contracted out to New Zealand company, Highway Stabilizers for the construction of seven new roads.
Umaria said the road condition in the industrial area was in a pathetic condition adding this was one of the reasons why people were not paying their rates.
The project cost 1.5 million dollars.
The official opening is expected next month.
