Close to a million dollars will be spent on road maintenance in Suva and Lami up until the end of this month.
Administrator Vijendra Prakash said they are working closely with the Works Ministry to maintain the roads in both municipalities and there are already signs of road repairs in many parts of Suva and Lami since the council administration changed.
Prakash said they need an additional $7 million for Suva and $6 million for Lami to do further upgrading of the roads.
