The Department of the National roads will complete the temporary bypass road in Seaqaqa by tomorrow morning which will allow motorists to use the Savusavu/ Labasa Highway which has been badly damages due to a landslide.
Roads Supervisor, Peni Varani confirms that restoration work is in progress and will be opended tomorrow, however all vehicles are to detour to the Naduri coastal road via Tabia.
Meanwhile motorists are requested to take precautionary measures while driving due to deteriorating road conditions in other areas in the North. Roads that are still closed to all traffic in Labasa include Nayarabale, Boubale, Wainikoro, Lakeba, Waidamudamu, Naduna, Korotari and Namoli roads.
