The poor road condition between Waidalice Bridge and Fulton College near Korovou in Tailevu will be upgraded soon.
Concerns have been raised by the Tikina Namalata representative Moape Naiduki who claims the Blacktop Construction Limited did not complete the upgrading work last year.
Naiduki has questioned the relevant authority as to why there is a delay in the works.
Fiji Road Authority representative Jese Morgan said a new company is expected to be announced soon after they advertise the tender.
He said the new company will continue the road works.
