The road death toll has now increased following the death of a 43 year old van driver in Nadi last night which raises the toll to 31.
The 43 year old van driver of Votualevu died last night at around 10.30pm while he was driving home through Nadi Back Road when he lost control of his vehicle, which at that time went off the road hitting a culvert.
The man was taken to Nadi hospital however was pronounced dead on arrival. It is believed the accident was caused due to speeding.
