A man in his 30's died after he was hit by a van in Veisari Lami early this morning.
The deceased was walking along the roadside when he was hit from behind by the van which was travelling from Navua to Suva.
He was taken to the CWM hospital by a Prison Vehicle, but was pronounced dead by doctors.
Police have questioned and released the 54 year old van driver as they are awaiting the post mortem report.
Meanwhile, a 22 year old woman of Khalsa road is admitted in hospital after she fell from a moving bus.
As the girl fell one of her leg was trapped under the tyre of the bus. One of her leg is fractured.
Investigations continues.
