The Roads Department in the Eastern Division warns road users in Kadavu that the Nabukelevu Road is closed due to heavy rain experienced this whole week.
According to Vonivate Vetaukula from the Roads Department in Kadavu, the Waikana crossing is flooded, so pedestrians and villagers are advised to refrain from crossing the road.
Vetaukula added that the road would be opened once flood waters have receded.
