A 45 year old farmer of Labasa has died after the vehicle he was travelling in veered off the road in Nagigi and tumbled.
The farmer who was a passenger sustained severe head injuries and died at the Labasa hospital yesterday.
He was travelling to Labasa town from Wainikoro when the driver lost control.
The 25 year old driver who also sustained serious injuries is admitted at the Labasa hospital.
The national road death toll is now 40, labeling the figure at the same period last year.
