A fatal road accident claimed the life of a four year old boy in Bua Nausori yesterday morning.
According to Nausori Police, the four year old who was travelling with his mother to Bau, got off the bus at Bau road and suddenly ran across the front of the bus when he was hit by an overtaking carrier.
The driver of the carrier overtook the parked bus when he hit the four year old.
The driver has been questioned and released while police awaits the post mortem reports before any charges are laid.
