The Marama na Roko Tui Dreketi, Ro Teimumu Kepa has solemnly accepted the cancellation of the Church Conference Meeting that was to be held at Lomanikoro, Rewa later this month.
This has been confirmed by Methodist Church Assistant Secretary - Reverend Tevita Nawadra.
Reverend Nawadra says that Ro Teimumu was in tears when she was traditionally relayed the message and was speechless.
He adds the Marama has asked the Church to inform the members of the cancellation, as she cannot inform the Vanua, according to her bail conditions.
Reverend Nawadra says that after the visit yesterday, the delegation has confirmed that the Church Conference has been called off, and the respective circuits will be informed soon.
The delegation to Lomanikoro was led by former Church President - Reverend Laisiasa Ratabacaca and assisted by Vice-President Epeli Drani-kamate and Taukei Navo - Ratu Meli Saukuru.
