The Ministry of Education and the management of Rishikul Sanatan College have finally come to an agreement and decided that the current acting Principal of the College will remain in office for the time being.
After continuous consultation, it was decided that acting Principal, Mahendra Pal will remain until the end of the first school term until a replacement is found.
In the meantime, the management has been given twenty one days to appeal against the appointment of an unidentified provisional officer, who might eventually end up as the principal.
Interim Education Minister, Filipe Bole said the school management, the Ministry of Education and the Fiji Teachers Union will make the final decision.
Management had earlier threatened to throw Pal out if some sort of agreement was not reached for his replacement.
