Rishikul Sanatan College Principal, Mahendra Pal is back at his office while normal classes continue at the school.
This has been confirmed by Police Officer In Charge, Valelevu ASP Manoj Singh who adds that Police will continue to monitor the situation until it is resolved.
ASP Singh said that Police presence at the school is to maintain peace and stability and to ensure parents that the security of the children remains paramount.
According to Singh, the College Management Committee members and the Fiji TV crew are currently meeting at the Valelevu Police Bure with the situation under control.
The Principal of Rishikul Sanatan College was taken into his office at the school premises in Valelevu by the police to ensure that he starts work today at the school.
Although the school management has been maintaining that they do not want the Principal, Mahendra Pal, Police Commissioner, Commodore Esala Teleni has told Village News that the Education Ministry requested the assistance of the police to ensure that Pal gets into the school office this morning.
