National 15s Assistant Coach Reverend Joji Rinakama has not been approached by the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) to be part of the Digicel Fiji 7s team coaching staff.

While National 7s Coach Waisale Serevi said that Rinakama's inclusion will be an added bonus to the side as he will help in the spiritual preparation of the team, the former Nadroga coach said there is still no official word from the FRU on the issue.

Rinakama said he is now looking forward to taking up his new post as the Church Minister for the Kalabu Methodist Church which will mean he will either be available to coach the Naitasiri, Tailevu or Suva teams in the next season.

It is also likely that he will be in charge of either the Knights or the Highlanders side in the Colonial Cup next year.

The former Fiji Bati rep was the first coach in the local rugby scene to win all the three major rugby titles in the country in 2006, when he was in charge of the Nadroga team.
