It is your right to demand for identification from those who come knocking to your door even the discipline forces.
These are the words of Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri whose comment follows after an incident yesterday where a man was robbed in his own home by some unknown people.
Inspector Sokomuri said the incident happened at Laucala Beach where a youth knocked on door of the victims house saying he collecting money for the Hurricane Tomas victims and when the owner of the house tried to give the money, two other accomplice entered the house and robbed the man.
Police are now looking for the three unknown men.
Meanwhile, a three year old boy lost his life yesterday after he fell into a well at his home.
Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed the three year old boy drowned after falling in a well at his home in Tailevu.
Sokomuri said the father left the children at home unattended and went to his plantation.
The drowning death toll now stands at 19 compared to 30 the same period last year.
Police has once again reteriated it=s call for parents to monitor the movement of their children and not to leave then unsupervised.
