The Tailevu Provincial council will not comment on the appointment of Council Chairman Josefa Serulagilagi to the National council for Building a Better Fiji
Provincial Council member Ratu Inoke Seru said the council will not comment on his appointment at the moment.
He said Serulagilagi is still the Council chairman and they will decide in the next meeting early this year whether he should continue. This is after the Tailevu Provincial council had earlier indicated that it would not participate.
Meanhwile, the Rewa provincial council Chairman Pita Tagicakivereta said the province will not change its stance although President Iloilo has made the plea today to all those who rejected to join.
And the Fijian Teachers Association's General Secretary, Maika Namudu said that the association was invited to join the Council and a collective decision was made and that they will not join. He said the union will not change its decision.
