Rewa, Ba, Suva and Lautoka soccer teams have qualified for the semifinals of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament to be played this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.

This is after Rewa defeated Nadi 1-0 in their last pool match yesterday.

The Delta Tigers just needed a draw to qualify and Nadi had to win the match.

Rewa Soccer coach Marika Rodu said his team fought till the last minute to secure the win.

Setereki Hughes scored the winning goal for the Delta Tigers.

Meanwhile, Suva beat Lautoka 1-0 in their final pool match with Inia Boko scoring the lone goal in the 45th minute of the second half.

In the final pool match, Ba thrashed Labasa 4-1 to also qualify for the semifinals.

Shamil Rao opened the scoring for the Men in Black just in the first minute of play followed by Abu Zahid in the 24th minute to make it 2-0.

Labasa pulled one back in the second half through Krishnil Krishna but Ba came back strongly and scored two more goals through Samuela Nabenia and Avinesh Swamy to make it 4-1.

Suva and Rewa will play in the first semifinal at 2pm this Saturday while at 4pm Lautoka meet Ba.
