Residents living in villages of Rewa Delta are expected to face water disruptions today as water engineers will be fixing a connection from Lokia across the Rewa River to Naililili.

Water Authority of Fiji Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said during this course, water supply to the lower end of the Rewa Delta including villages of Burebasaqa, Waivou, Lomanikoro, Nabua, Drekena, Tavuya, Lokui and Vutia will be disrupted.

People have been asked to store water if water is running in their taps.

Repair works are expected to be completed by 3pm and water supply will be normalized later this afternoon.
