A number of villages in the Rewa delta close to the mouth of the Rewa river are being evacuated.
Provincial Officer Rewa Luke Maraivalu said they have received confirmation that atleast four villages have been affected by rising water levels in the Rewa river.
4 house in the village of Nasalia in Naitasiri are without their roofs as they were blown away by strong winds.
Turaga-ni-koro Livai said that strong winds have died down but heavy rain continues.
