The Rewa soccer side created the biggest upset in the first round of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants at the TFL Stadium, after they beat defending champions Ba by 2 goals to 1.
Rewa's goals came from Ratu Veresa Toma and James Naka in the first half.
Ba's lone goal came from Avinesh Swamy in the 20 minute of the second half.
A huge crowd turned up at the TFL stadium this afternoon to cheer their teams on and the results indicate that it will not be an easy ride for top teams like Navua, who have two New Zealand based players, as competition is tough.
Looking at the results from the games played today, Lautoka beat Nasinu 2-0, Lautoka's goals came from Keni Doidoi and Abu Zahid.
Labasa held Navua to a nil-all draw and Suva had to come from behind to hold Nadroga to a 1-all draw.
Suva's lone goal came from Esava Samudre while Samuela Drudru put in Nadroga's goal.
The Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament will continue at Prince Charles Park in Nadi next Thursday.
