The Rewa soccer team will be without two key players for the opening round of the 2016 Vodafone Premier League Competition against Suva on Sunday.
Rewa Soccer Coach Marika Rodu says Epeli Saukuru and Peniame Drova have joined the RFMF and will not be with the team for the next ten weeks.
Despite this setback, Rodu says they want to start their campaign with a win against Suva.
Rodu says the team has been training for three weeks and the Vodafone under 23 players joined them this week.
Rodu adds that Suva is a quality side and played well in the CVC last week.
The first round of the 2016 Vodafone Premier League starts tomorrow at Subrail Park where Labasa and Dreketi will play at 1.30pm.
At 3pm Ba will host Lautoka and on Sunday at 3pm defending champions Nadi will host Nadroga and at the same time Rewa will play Suva at Ratu Cakobau Park.
