The Rewa soccer association will now go to arbitration after Fiji Football Association ruled a protest in favor of Lautoka which helped the Blues to win last years National soccer league title.

Rewa soccer's Vice President, Nazil Buksh said they were not given the opportunity to defend the case whereby Fiji FA ruled that the Nigerian player Rewa fielded had brought fake International Transfer Certificate last year.

Buksh said the Nigerian player they fielded against Lautoka had brought proper clearance but it's a shame that Rewa was not allowed to give its side of the story.

The Fiji FA board ruled last Friday that the player from Nigeria had brought fake clearance and the protest will be awarded to Lautoka.

As a result Lautoka was crowned last years National soccer league winner.

Lautoka edged Ba by two points to win the title.
