A major setback for the Rewa soccer team as three of their key players will not feature for them at the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament this weekend.
Rewa soccer President Nazeel Buksh confirms that star striker Iosefo Verevou, Setareki Hughes and Savenaca Nakalevu who are students of Saraswati College have opted to play for their school at the Secondary Schools Inter District tournament in Labasa this week.
Rewa needs to beat Navua and hope that Lautoka loses or draws their match against Labasa to qualify for the semi finals.
The Rewa versus Navua match kicks off at 2.30pm at Govind Park this Friday.
