The Rewa soccer team denied all odds to shock high flying Ba 1-0 at Govind Park in the feature match of the National Soccer League.
The Delta Tigers stepped up their performance from last week and scored the lone goal of the match in the 18th minute of the first half through Epeli Saukuru.
The men in black with the services of Osea Vakatalesau, Avinesh Waran Swamy, Tuimasi Manuca, Roneel Kumar and Alvin Singh tried hard to come back into the game after their classy win over Waitakere United 3-2 in the O-League but the man of the match performance by Reds goalkeeper Epeli Levaniceva denied them from finding the back of the net.
The visitors with Lorima Dau, Posiano Kalesito and Iosefo Verevou defended well throughout the match.
In the only match tomorrow, Labasa will host Nadroga at 2pm.
