The Rewa soccer team is out to open their 2010 National Soccer League campaign with a win against Suva at Ratu Cakobau Park this afternoon.
President Pranil Singh said they have named a team made up of players who have tasted top level soccer action before and will give 100 percent in the game.
Singh said they are not underestimating the Suva side, who also will have the services of national reps in their line-up but the Delta Tiger fans can expect their boys to come out firing from the opening whistle.
He added Soloman Islander import James Naka along with Ratu Veresa Toma, Simione Tamanisau and Netani Doli are some well known players in the team.
Today at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori, Tavua will take on Nasinu at 1.30pm while at 4pm Suva will face Rewa and live commentary of this game can be heard on our sister radio station Radio Sargam.
Yesterday Ba thumped Nadroga 7-1 and Labasa upset Navua 1-nil.
