Rewa soccer teams deadly striker, Ratu Veresa Toma said the Delta Tigers has got what it takes to lift the Courts IDC trophy this Sunday.
Toma who started his soccer career in Nadi and is most well remembered for leading the goal score chart with 7 goals in the 2004 Oceania Nations cup tournament said they have done well so far in heavy conditions.
Toma who has only managed to score a single goal so far in four matches said more than one defender is being told to stop him from moving freely on the pitch.
Rewa is expected to meet Nadi or Labasa in the semi-finals of the Courts IDC and in its current form the Delta Tigers look favorite to be in the final.
In the Courts IDC pool matches, Rewa beat Ba and Lautoka 1-0, then overcame Nasinu 2-1 and in its last match the Delta Tigers beat Suva 2-1.
The semi-finals and final of the Courts IDC will be played this Sunday at the TFL stadium and the commentaries of all matches with the final of the Premier Division can be heard on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
