The Suva soccer team may not be able to field the two players from Rewa for this weekend's Vodafone Fiji Fact.
Lisala Vetaukula and Harris Bali have been training with the side but have not been released by Rewa Soccer Association.
Suva Team Director Anup Kumar said Rewa is asking for $8,000 for the duo's release and it seems they have to miss out on the tournament.
Kumar said they might ask for help from the Fiji FA after the tournament for their release but at this stage both players have been ruled out.
Kumar said they have many good players in the squad and their absence may not be felt. Suva will play Nadi in their opening match tomorrow at 8:45pm at the TFL National Stadium.
