Great Council of Chiefs Review team, Chairman Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo, is hoping that members of the Rewa and Tailevu Provincial Councils would understand that a new criteria was in place for those who will join the GCC and their decision to support it or go against it, would not make any impact.
The Marama Roko Tui Dreketi, Ro Teimumu Kepa, highlighted yesterday that the GCC Review team was welcome to the Rewa Provincial Council meeting to present their submission but the Province would not change its stance that they do not support the new look GCC.
However, Nawalowalo made it clear that their presence at the meeting was just to inform the provincial council about what the interim government wanted before the GCC meet this year.
The GCC Review team will be in the Rewa Provincial Council meeting on Thursday at Lomanikoro before meeting the Tailevu Provincial Council on Friday.
