The supply of Rewa Butter and the Rewa Life Blue packet milk is expected to normalize within two weeks.

Fiji Dairy Limited Executive Chairperson Amita Singh said the imported Rewa Life Blue which is the normal substitute in the event of low supply of local milk has been delayed from overseas suppliers.

She added that decrease in the supply of raw materials from overseas suppliers led to butter shortages.

Decrease in the supply of milk from local farmers has also led to the shortage of Rewa Life liquid milk.

According to Singh the Rewa Dairy Factory in Nabua continues its business as usual and is committed to maintain supply to meet the increasing demand of milk.
