The Rewa soccer team cannot afford to have an inexperienced goalkeeper this Sunday when the Delta Tigers meet Ba for the first time this year in the Champions league.
These were Rewa soccer team coach, Marika Rodu's words when Rewa edged Navua 2-1 last night.
Rodu said Alfraaz Sahib has been playing as the stopper for the Delta Tigers in the last two matches but the test on Sunday will be against the real giants of Fiji soccer.
Rodu adds nothing much can be done as Rewa's top choice goalkeepers have been ruled out.
Meanwhile, in another Champions league match last night, Ba and Lautoka played to a nil-all draw.
Two matches will be played this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau park.
Lautoka will take on Navua at 2pm and Rewa will play Ba at 4pm. Commentaries of both matches can be heard on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
