Meanwhile, the Lautoka soccer team has also made a good start to the tournament as they have beaten southerners Navua 2-1 in the first match today.
Alvin Avinesh and Ali Anthony scored the goals for the Lautoka side.
Inia Boko grabbed the lone goal for the southerners.
A total of 9 yellow cards and 2 red cards were shown in the match.
Navua forwards Apisai Smith and Netani Doli got the red cards from referee Finau Vulivuli.
Meanwhile, in the feature match of today Labasa plays Suva at 7.45 tonight.
