The Rewa Provincial Council will not deviate from what they stand by as they continue to stand against the draft People’s Charter because they do not support the 2006 takeover by the military.
Deputy Chairman of the Rewa Provincial Council Pita Tagicakiverata confirmed they will open their doors when the National Council of Building a Better Fiji (NCBBF) team distributes the draft Charter to the villagers, however the decision made in the provincial council meeting will not change.
Tagicakiverata added that a team from the NCBBF visited the villages last week and spoke to the headman and the villagers.
