Investigations into the alleged abuse of funds and abuse of office at the Rewa Rice office in Labasa are still continuing.
Divisional Crime Officer ASP Luke Rawalai had confirmed that they have taken statements from a number of members of the Rewa Rice board and the file has been forwarded to the DPP.
The former General Manager of Labasa office, who is a former Territorial officer, is being investigated on allegations of abuse of office and abuse of funds.
The General Manager being under probe was also a former military officer-In-charge at the Labasa Barracks. After the establishment of FICAC the Major also claimed that he is the head of FICAC in Labasa.
