The semi-finalists of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament were confirmed after the final pool matches.
Hosts Rewa will face-off arch-rivals Navua in the first semi-final at 9am while Labasa will clash with Suva at 10:30am tomorrow morning.
The hosts Rewa soccer team came from a 1-0 defeat to Labasa yesterday to clinch two victories today at Ratu Cakobau Park.
The Delta Tigers defeated Nadroga 2-0 and then went on to beat Lautoka 3-0 to top its pool while Labasa, who had already qualified for the semis lost to Ba 3-0 in the final pool match to take the runners-up position.
In the other pool, Suva defeated Savusavu 1-0 to top its pool while Navua managed to come from behind to hold the ever improving Tavua 1-all to take the runners-up spot.
All results for today’s matches: Suva 1-0 Savusavu, Rewa 2-0 Nadroga, Navua 1-1 Tavua, Savusavu 1-2 Nadi, Rewa 3-0 Lautoka, Labasa 0-3 Ba.
