The price of Rewa Life milk has gone up from yesterday.

Prices and Incomes Board secretary Lusi Naimawi said they have approved a 4% increase in markup price for wholesalers and a 10% increase in markup price for retailers.

Naimawi said the increase is only for liquid Rewa Life milk.

She stressed that the new prices are to be implemented on any new stock of Rewa Life milk purchased by retailers.

The prices are expected to vary in other centers outside the town boundaries based on delivery and cartage charges.

Fijivillage has noticed that a packet of Rewa Life milk which used to cost $1.70 has increased to $1.93 in most supermarkets.

Some retail shops are even selling a packet for $2.20.
