Police in Nausori have confirmed that evacuation centres around the nearby villages around the Rewa province are still being utilized.
Divisional Police Commander Eastern SSP Emosi Baleinuku confirmed that apart from the other affected areas, 67 evacuees are still staying at the Burebasaga District School.
Baleinuku said they expect people to leave the centres around today or tomorrow.
Meanwhile, DISMAC has clarified that more than 7,000 people are still taking shelter at 118 evacuation centres around the country.
DISMAC officer Laisenia Naitele said the latest update shows that a lot more evacuation centres are still active.
