Villages in the Rewa Delta say they have been without water supply since Christmas Day.
A number of residents have called Village this morning to express their frustration. They say that they tried calling the PWD in Nausori but there was no assistance.
Residents said they have had to fetch water from the tank that was stored by individual families for cooking and washing while many had to go to the river to have their showers.
Attempts to contact Acting Divisional Water Engineer Central/Eastern Samuela Tubui this morning proved futile.
