Rewa Dairy Corporative is recalling a batch of the blue packet one litre Rewa Life liquid milk products after a directive from the Department of Weight and Measures.
Rewa Dairy Chief Executive Officer Savenaca Seniloli confirmed that the recall has been initiated as the batch in question is non compliant in terms of volume and is below the stated volume of 1 litre.
Seniloli confirmed that the blue packet Rewa life milk is packaged in New Zealand by Fonterra Limited.
He said their officers are now finalizing details on the batch number to confirm the exact number of cartons which were in the affected batch.
The Rewa Dairy CEO said they have a replacement policy in place and consumer who may have purchased the affected product can take it to the retail outlet where they made the purchase and Rewa Dairy will in turn replace the affect stocks with the retailers or wholesalers.
