A review of those that have applied to be part of the upcoming National Dialogue Forum is continuing, as we need to ensure those who applied are genuine and are really interested in taking this country forward.
Those were the sentiments of Permanent Secretary Prime Minister's Office Lieutenant Colonel Pio Tikoduadua who said they want to start the Forum in February and will soon appoint a Chairperson, who will most probably be a non-local.
He said they are currently working towards the February mark by studying and reviewing applications.
Fijivillage has received information that a number of people have written to the Prime Minister intending to be part of the National Dialogue Forum.
However, the background checks and analysis are being conducted to ensure that genuine people who want to move Fiji forward are chosen.
It is to ensure that those selected do not just look for their personal gain.
