Review your spending habits and lifestyle towards spending locally grown fruits and move away from fatty and processed food imports.

In light of world price increases Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry is also calling on private companies and individuals to take appropriate measures to decrease the impact.

In a press statement released, Chaudhry said the Interim Government is making huge concessions from its recent policy announcement, adding importers, particularly of food items, can absorb a large part of the increases in food prices knowing that future prices are expected to drop, as evident from recent international releases.

Chaudhry adds the Interim Government believes this is a good opportunity to revert to and be more accustomed to consuming fresh, nutritious and local foods which are cheap.

He adds that energy saving should be practiced at home and at work.
