The government of the day should relook at certain policies in order to better economic projections for the next two years.
These are the words of Economist Dr Biman Prasad, reacting to the Reserve Bank stating that economic growth for this year is projected at 1.7%, down from 2.2% announced in October last year.
Prasad also said economic recovery still seems elusive at this point in time with Reserve Bank observations of projected 1.7% economic growth for this year, being a little too optimistic at this point in time.
