The membership and operations of the two Fijian institutions, the Great Council of Chiefs and the Native Land Trust Board should be reviewed.
This is the view of Citizen's Constitutional Forum Director Rev Akuila Yabaki in his report to the UN Convention of Elimination of Racial Discrimination in Geneva.
He said steps should be taken towards the absolute banning of race based organizations in Fiji.
Reverand Yabaki said if Fiji wants to do away with race, then the review should start from major Fijian institutions like NLTB and Great Council of Chiefs.
