The 2008 Budget should be relooked at by the Interim Government in order to jolt the economy back on track.
This is the advice of Economist Dr Biman Prasad, after statistics released by the Reserve Bank on Fiji's economic growth for this year, projected at 1.7%, down from 2.2% announced in October last year.
Prasad adds the Reserve Bank should also relook at its monetary policies.
Prasad says one of the results of poor economic growth is unemployment which is a major concernn at this point in time.
