The Social Democratic and Liberal Party is calling on the Electoral Commission Chairman Chen Bunn Young to reveal a timetable towards the General Elections.
SODELPA General Secretary Pio Tabaiwalu said this is the only answer to the statement that was sent to the Electoral Commission by the Fiji Labour Party requesting for a meeting with the members of the commission.
Tabaiwalu said by putting a timetable towards elections, it assures the political parties that there will be elections.
Tabaiwalu stressed that SODELPA wants the timetable from Young.
The Chairman of the Electoral Commission is yet to comment on the issue.
